Abstract: ObjectiveTo discuss the clinical effect of minimally invasive treatment of eight Orthocord sutures for acromioclavicular dislocation combined with distal clavicle fracture.MethodThe clinical data of 12 cases of acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Rockwood Ⅲ) with distal clavicle fracture (Neer ⅡB) performed minimally invasive surgery of eight Orthocord sutures admitted from January 2016 to April 2017 was analyzed retrospectively.ResultsThe operation duration was 40 to 55 minutes with an average of 43.5 minutes, the intraoperative blood loss was 20 to 50 ml with an average of 32.5 ml, and the hospitalization time was 5 to 10 days with an average of 6.1 days. The wound healing was well in 11 cases, but appeared incision fat liquefaction in 1 case. All 12 patients were followed up for 12 to 15 months. No acromioclavicular joint dislocation and condylar or clavicle fractures were found again. According to Karlsson standard, the outcomes revealed excellent in 10 cases and good in 2 cases at 3 months after the operation, and excellent in all 12 cases at 12 months after the surgery. The shoulder joint function showed excellent in 10 cases and good in 2 cases according to Neer standard, and the fineness rate was 100%.ConclusionMinimally invasive treatment with eight Orthocord sutures can achieve reliable effect for acromioclavicular joint dislocation combined with distal clavicular fracture with the advantages of less trauma, simple operating, firm fixation, few complications and no reoperation of remove the internal fixation, and it is worthy of clinical generalization.
