The Clinical Effect of Negative Pressure Drainage Followed Atmospheric Pressure Drainage in Total Knee Replacement Patients |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of negative pressure drainage followed atmospheric pressure drainage in total knee replacement patients.MethodsThere were 90 cases with TKA were randomly divided into the experiment group and the control group, with 45 cases for each. The experiment group was treated by negative pressure drainage followed atmospheric pressure, and the control group was treated by negative pressure drainage 4 hours after operation. The drainage volume, clinical effect, and prognosis of the patients were compared.ResultsThe drainage volume of 0~6h, 6~12h and the total one of the experiment group was less than the control group(P<0.05). The transfusion volume and 1day postoperative blood loss of the experiment group were less than the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference on the body temperature before and after operation for the two groups(P>0.05). The 2day postoperative active flexion angle of the experiment group was less than the control group(P<0.05), and it became larger than the control group 5 days after operation (P<0.05). There was no significant difference on the rate of phlebothrombosis (P>0.05).ConclusionIt can reduce the drainage volume and the blood loss for the patients with total knee replacement by negative pressure drainage followed atmospheric pressure drainage. It has high value of clinical application with the improvement of the range of motion.
