Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical application of nasal endoscopic sinus ossification fibroma resection under the guidance of electromagnetic navigation. Method 1 case of ossifying fibroma of the sinus had undergone the complete resection with nasal endoscopic surgery under the guidance of the FUSION[TM]?electromagnetic navigation system. Results The operation was completed successfully in 2 hours and the tumor was resected completely. There were no intra- and post-operative complications, nor recurrence was found during the follow-up. Conclusions Electromagnetically guided resection of ossifying fibroma of paranasal sinuses plays an important role in evaluating the risk of surgery before operation, ensuring the accuracy and safety of the resection, shortening operative time and reducing the complication rates. The application prospect is broad.
