| Curative Effect and Complication Comparisons of Microscopic and Laparoscopic Ligation of Spermatic Veins for the Treatment of Varicocele |

Abstract ObjectiveTo analyze of microscopic and laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein for the treatment of varicocele in the curative effects and complications.MethodsFrom February 2013 to February 2016, there were 180 varicocele patients in our hospital were studied prespectively. The patients were randomly divided into the research group and the control group, with 90 cases for each. The research group was treated by microscopic spermatic vein ligation. And the control group was treated by laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein. The therapeutic effect and complications in the two groups was compared.ResultsThe semen quality of the research group was higher than the control group(P<0.05). The complication rate of the research group and the control group was 5.55% vs. 21.11% respectively. And the complication rate of the research group was lower (P<0.05).ConclusionIn the clinical treatment of patients with varicocele, compared with laparoscopic ligation of spermatic vein, microsurgical spermatic vein ligation has good curative effect and low complication rate, thus has higher clinical value.
