Abstract: ObjectiveTo discuss the clinical results of the small incision for bi-muscle pedicle bone grafting of sartorius and tensor fascia latae in femoral neck fracture patients.MethodThere were 35 cases with femoral neck fractures in the small incision group, and 35 cases with femoral neck fracture in the Smith-Petersen incision or improved Smith-Petersen group. Operation time, intraoperative blood loss, incision length, postoperative drainage, postoperative healing time, treatment effects and complications were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe patients were followed up for 23.6 (13~36) months, and the clinical results of the small incision group was found to be significantly better than the conventional incision(P<0.01), such as operation time, intraoperative blood loss, incision length and postoperative drainage volume. There was no significant difference in healing time and complication rates between the two groups (P>0.05).ConclusionsIt is recommended of the small incision for the advantages of less soft tissue damage, less blood loss, more conducive surgical safety and quicker postoperative rehabilitation, which is an effective method for the treatment of femoral neck fractures in young adults.
